Cheerleading
Cheerleading is one of Canada’s fastest growing sports. It is an athletic activity that combines elements of gymnastic tumbling, dance, acrobatics, and traditional cheerleading skills such as jumps and arm motions. Teams consist of up to 32 athletes performing exciting choreographed routines set to music. As an official Olympic recognized sport, the future is unfolding on a global level and it is an exciting time to be involved in the sport of cheerleading!

RECREATIONAL CHEER
Our Recreational sessions run for 6-10 weeks (depending on the time of year). Rec cheer is a fun introduction to the sport, where the athletes learn the basics of cheerleading in a team environment. The athletes may perform their skills and/or a mini routine for parents on the last day of class (in fall or spring sessions) or in the season Showcase (in winter session). No experience is necessary!
ALL STAR CHEER
All Star Competitive Teams are decided according to skill level of the athletes as well as age groupings. All athletes are welcomed in our gym – we are happy to work with athletes at their current ability level and help them set goals to grow! Stunt technique and tumbling are two components that athletes must demonstrate when being considered for any team. We level our teams according to the skill level and growth potential of the athletes.

It’s important to us to be aligned with the development of Cheerleading through both the Provincial and Canadian sport bodies for cheerleading. Airbourne coaches benefit from certification and training opportunities and our athletes benefit through camp, competition and learning opportunities.
